Hoof Protection is a repairing, softening ointment that protects the hoof against external stresses.
With a unique composition of natural ingredients with water repellent, reparative and antiseptic characteristics, the ointment gives the hoof the opportunity for gentle, effective healing.
The ointment forms an invisible coating over the hoof, which provides friction protection. The water and bacteria do not penetrate, while at the same time it allows the hoof to breathe and heal in peace.

Treatment of hooves:
1. Clean the hooves with ESMERGOT Deep Clean Shampoo, a hoof bath or scrub clean with a dish brush to remove dirt from the exposed area. The hoof can then more easily assimilate the softening and repairing capacity of the ointment, which results in even more effective healing.
2. Allow the hooves to air dry or towel dry lightly, soften the ointment between the fingertips and apply the ointment to the affected area.
3. If there are cracks or cavities, fill them with the ointment so that the healing takes place all the way from the inside.
4. Hoof Protection forms a water-repellent friction protection, with its antiseptic and softening capacity it contributes to better hoof health.
